What services are covered by the California Cool Air Rebate Program?

- If your application is received by October 18, 2024, 100% of your diagnostic fees are covered.
- After October 18, 2024, if repairs are eligible under the program, CAR program will pay 100% of the testing and diagnosis of your vehicle. However if repairs are not eligible for the program, you will be responsible for 20% of the diagnostic fee.
- Lastly, if vehicle repairs are eligible, the program will cover 80% of the repair costs up to $1,500 and pay the repair shop directly. You will be responsible for the remaining amount, which is paid directly to the repair shop.
